I think you all are missing the bigger picture. Since 1937 (Germany) and 1945-47 (USA), the governments and occultist elites who run things believe they are in contact with ETs who are giving them advanced tech and ADVICE. The advice no doubt includes reducing population and making adjustments to the biosphere... because the "ETs" are actually the same hyperdimensional ("spiritual") entities, "rebellious fallen angels", who created horrific chimera and did other terrible genetic experiments over 5000 years ago, seeking to dominate the genome for their own purposes, in violation of divine laws. By turning our back on the Judeo-Christian heritage that gradually pushed the "Old Gods" out of their many strongholds of influence over mankind, we've opened the door to them reasserting their power. Having occultists like Aleister Crowley and Jack Parsons (rocket scientist, founder of JPL) perform complex rituals like "The Babylon Working" was basically kicking down the door from OUR side, inviting them back. The 1960's and all that followed was the beginning of the Old God's resurgence.

Those same "Shining Ones" (what the Genesis texts about serpent beings really say) are pulling strings behind the scenes through top-tier human collaborators networking through secret societies, helping set the stage for a final conflict of good and evil that will trigger the return of the Jewish Messiah, Yeshuah... God's idea of what a just and moral human king should be.
