Step back to 30,000 feet and the net effect of all of this is a rapid and painful decline in all of the economic, social and legal frameworks that made America wealthy and powerful. There really hasn't been any country in the world in recent history that has committed such an act of Empirical or National suicide like this. When Russia was captured by Putin it really was weak and chaotic. Blind idealogical culture war is tearing everything down. It will take awhile to notice the consequences. Like when thousands of US children start dying from measles in a few years or when mis steps in the Ukraine War cause a major Russian/Nato shoot out that might spin out of control in Europe.
