since you mentioned frodo . . . isnt there a line in there that evils greatest trick is to convince us of how powerful it is? I have often felt like a hobbit trudging across the wastelands. I've also spent years of my life in 3rd world countries (cave exploring) and have been adept at chop wood, carry water. will we adapt? some of us will and frankly those 3 world folks who never got as entitled as us will probably do the best. we deserve better? yep and its going to be incumbent on us to create it. as to western hrrmph 'medicine'.
