There used to be 3 or 4 influenza strains come up from the souther hemisphere every fall but only one would be dominant. In the years where they guessed wrong and put the non-circulating one in the vaccine there were no excess deaths despite NOBODY being vaccinated for what was in circulation. Small sample size but doesn't bode well for proving the flu vax was any use. I went with vitamin D3
