I have a memory of being in college back in 2003, when my girlfriend, roommate, and several friends and I rented the FearDotCom DVD and watched it in my apartment's pitch-black living room, and during the film, one of the girls actually typed in feardotcom.com on her laptop, and was sent to a secret, unadvertised website (set up by the studio/producers) where you got a whole bunch of additional content related to the movie.
