I used to live in a small American University town which had the most amazing library. Archival.

Because it was like this - I sold off most of my library upon divorce, it just seemed prudent at the time to let the library store the books.

But upon moving to Australia, the library's attitude is NOT archival. They only stock what is popular, and get rid of it once it is not.

I'm crying over my lost library, and have worked really hard to build it back up so that - whatever happens - I've got at least a decade of full time reading waiting for me.
