Care is active and engaging, and can be turned inward or outward. It is about the connection that we have with what we are doing. It is intentional, and can quiet the constant external noise that we are bombarded with.
Although our weather is inconsistent at best, every opportunity I get, I take care to tend to our property. Whether it's picking up the loads of branches that have fallen throughout the winter, preparing garden beds, or simply visualizing where I want to add new areas of interest (a medicine wheel garden is at the top of my list), it is a meditation on connection with nature and home.
As we focus on tending, notice the care that you put into how you tend. It will help you define what is most meaningful during this spring season.
