Even worse is the assertion about the left being in denial about the debt. Which absolutely exploded under Reagan, W and Trump. And the debt exists as a political issue only to use as a cudgel against a Dem president, but conveniently ignored when there is a Republican president. Which means it’s a bad faith argument. And no better than the usual MAGA gaslighting.
