The thing of wanting to be part of the "in" crowd, of having to see the "other" as evil and ourselves as good combined with the relentless propaganda from the media, especially the mainstream media, has deformed us as a society and sometimes as individuals. This article is long and it is specifically about Norway, but it applies to all of us, I think.
