I do understand that it must be difficult and painful to have someone you love being held hostage. What I don't understand is how the families of those hostages can accept a genocide happening while their loved ones are being held hostage. I also understand that they rationalize all that killing by saying the Palestinians are "human animals" so they, being supreme beings, can do whatever needs doing to get those hostages home. I don't understand how they cannot see that Netanyahu and his gang don't care at all about the hostages. So, if there is any complexity to this, it is that people can remain so blind to what is going on and not see that they are manipulating the holocaust to maintain their victim status which they think gives them the right to commit genocide. Oops, I mean to defend themselves.
