Not 120 days, but at least 4 years (when the GOP made it a requirement for membership to lie, or at least play dumb, about the '20 election), and more likely 8 years when, instead of confronting their spoiled brat "leader" kept feeding his id and ego. Oh, corruption has been in both parties for centuries, but the Trump GOP shows no bounds. Long before the '24 election, every voter who uses reason has recognized that as a deal-breaker no matter how many disagreements they may have with the Dems.
The Trump "base" consists of those who WANT that corruption and those merely indifferent to it. That leaves the swing voters, mainly in swing states, such as those who voted for Biden in '20 but Trump in '24. Like Trump's base, they don't use reason, but can be persuaded by simple concepts, be they misleading (e.g. Biden was responsible for the high price of eggs) or deadly accurate (e.g. The GOP is now so corrupt it'll sell out its own country).
That said, it's not enough to win over swing voters in the '26 midterms and in '28, but to make absolutely certain those elections are free and fair. The MAGA cult isn't even pretending not to try again and steal them or storm the Capitol if they fail.
