I expect it's simply 1) a publicity stunt for the Trump team and 2) a chance for Israel to get most of the remaining hostages before resuming the destruction of Gaza and Gazans As for Gazans celebrating, after what they've been through I'm sure they're in a mode of focusing on daily survival, and any relief is manna from heaven--doesn't mean THEY believe it will actually end the genocide.
