Apologies for such a late response. I didn't forget but I was pre-occupied. First off "Also, if you don't want Arabs to be seen as terrorists, you might want to ask Muslims and Arabs to stop cheering for the Hamas attacks." - No. Why would I. I don't speak for the entirety of the Arab world - nor would I want to - any more than you speak for the entirety of wherever you happen to be from. This western habit of expecting Arabs or Muslims to denounce disgusting behaviour by other arabs or muslims is ridiculous and wrong. Can I get a denunciation from all white people re: the guy who drove his van deliberately into a Muslim family in London Ontario because they were Muslim? No? Why not? You all expect it from us every time some cretin does something so frankly, why shouldn't we expect the exact same from you.
"The only real democracy in the Middle East is Israel, yet the surrounding Arab and/or Muslim nations seem to want to destroy it." - That is a lie. It is not the only real democracy. Lebanon has parliamentary elections. Are they flawed - HELL YES - are they real elections? Absolutely they are.
"You claim the Palestinians are displaced - yet they have REFUSED every opportunity to live in peace as Israel's neighbor! They could have had their own country decades ago!" - This is so disingenuous when you know exactly what I am referring to. The forced displacement of Palestinians happening RIGHT NOW. - A war crime. 100%
" Of course people are going to associate Muslims and Arabs with terrorism!!!
How about telling people to STOP cheering for terrorists and to STOP saying things like "Death to Israel" or "Gas the Jews"!" - This is vile and not worthy of a response. I responded to the whole stop cheering thing above. The rest is actually vile.
"None of the Arab countries want Palestinians, either as refugees or citizens." - that's because we already have millions thanks to the first Nakba. We don't need another. fool us once - shame on you, fool us twice - well, you can't.
Your entire response is rude (your tone is for sure anyway) , based in heightened emotion and displays all the hallmarks I see from people who think the whole issue is like a hollywood spaghetti western with the good guys in white hats and bad guys in Kaffiyehs. You don't have a full grasp of the situation but you certainly 100% have a grasp of the propagandized situation (you're so passionate about it, the Spin Doctors should be so proud). You also have such a shallow grasp of the Middle East as a whole but sound like you feel strangely entitled to make opinions on a populace that has as many diverse opinions as Canadians do - I know it is easier for you to just listen to the spin that has us all as terror apologists but do try to see past the videos shot strategically for clicks or sympathy for one side or the other.
