Remarkable? While I can see that China's domestic audience may see it that way, it is certainly not seen that way by most of the rest of the world.
From American and allied POV, it reads like a nationalistic, even jingoistic, speech heralding increased tensions, and maybe even war (cold or hot) ahead. Some of the more dramatic in America read it as preparing China for war (invasion of TW), though I don't actually believe that's the case as I believe China is much more cautious and careful then they may appear
