Liberals are not the same as lefties. i think/hope those on the left are not unfriending, cancelling, de-platforming etc. After all, look what the "liberals" did to Bernie Sanders in the USA and Jeremy Corbyn in the UK! Lefties and righties, and atheists and the religious, should be able to agree to disagree and have fruitful discussions. I think there's some pushback against this travesty of democracy - I certainly hope so.
