I agree that there's not enough discussion about the real power behind the court jester in the White House. I and a few others have been making noise about this for the last 18 or so months, but the Democratic Party and the pseudo-Left talking heads continue to ignore the obvious. I suspect the true tragedy behind all of this is that too many people in politics, business, and the media are hoping they can win over or at least find detente with the corporate powers behind and aligned with the Heritage Foundation. They are being quite foolish.

Vance would be worse than Trump because Vance is more obedient than Trump is. Vance is Peter Thiel's man, a Manchurian candidate who will do the bidding of the Nerd Reich. Trump is the distraction, a useful idiot until he dies.

I'm not convinced there has ever been serious incursions by Russia and Putin into the US scene. The corporate powers that are behind the current mess are willing to do business with Russia if they can profit from it, but the US right wing finds it more convenient to keep Russia as the enemy and whipping boy for US nationalist talking points.

SCOTUS, and much of the judiciary, has been bought and paid for. This is the result of the 50-year plan of the Heritage Foundation and their allies. Not a conspiracy, it's been up front and in the open all this time. The Democrats did little to fight it and still are doing nothing. It's tragic.

You are correct, the next chapter will be more chaotic.
