Nobody is arguing that Hunter Biden wasn't selling influence. That said, Hunter was also riding "Air Force 2" with his dad to China and other international destinations. Does anybody really think that he was just along for the rides, or that Joe Biden didn't ask about the nature of the business? Wouldn't Hunter have to tell his dad what he was doing in order to be able to provide the influence that his customers were buying? For the purposes that this group is most interested in, what are the larger questions for the relations between the US and China in a Biden Administration? The contentious nature of the relationship now is set. Biden will get tested early by the Chinese in order for them to gauge his and his administration's responses to the test, and then the Chinese will proceed with what they are already doing. The US will continue to react to what the Chinese do, and vice-versa. The influence peddling of the Biden's is unseemly, but apparently it is the new normal for most American politicians. I would guess that Biden Administration policies would look like the Obama Administration policies.
