I’m a bit confused. Perhaps someone can enlighten me. The CAI provides for both sides to comply with international labor standards. Those standards would certainly address the issues in Xinjiang. Both sides want this. Further it’s my view that the getting tough between EU and China is more for internal political consumption and will give cover for ratification in EU.
