Clyde prestowitz- Yes, it does depend. For sure we need to undermine the Chinese economy and the CCP. I do not want to attack the PRC, but I do think that we should try to make it very expensive for China to invade Taiwan. For instance, do we want Xi to grab Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company? I think not. We could blow it up. Not an attack on the PRC, but a big hit on what Xi thinks he might get. We could blockade the Straits of Malacca for example. There are lots of things that can be done that do not require a direct military action on the PRC.
