I wonder if we are not over-thinking the issue. I seriously doubt that Pelosi is thinking in terms of her visit being a tool to hasten de-coupling and i am certain that she and Biden have not discussed it. I seriously doubt that she thinks her trip is any particular trap for or puts any particular pressure on Xi. The main actors are not necessarily into the sophisticated analysis of the commentators.
