not an expert, but ETFs alone are not the solution, maybe part of it. there is too much volatility in the markets which are dominated by retail investors who treat it as a casino/lottery. US markets are less volatile because there are large investors who take very long views, classic value investment. something that will take a long time to become an attractive inbestment when real estate has been a money maker in PRC for decades.
