Too many critical thinking errors in your response:
(1) Confirmation bias -> you pay attention to stories that confirm your beliefs, etc. and ignore important data that goes against them (too many to list here)
(2) You do NOT have an adequate understanding of HOW global finance (and US finance) works. Hence your misunderstanding of the important of being a "sovereign currency issuer" and the "strength of the US Dollar". Please read up on MMT (Modern Monetary Theory) to understand how the financial system works IN REALITY (and not in theory as taught in schools, by politicians, economists, and talking heads)
>>"Capitalism is dead, Chang. It's dead."
I WISH THIS WERE TRUE! But it's NOT. If it were, we wouldn't be talking about it. In fact, Capitalism is EVERYWHERE. Just open your eyes and look around you. Stop pretending and believing comforting narratives. Yes, I'd like to believe such comforting narratives too, but I'd be lying to myself if I did. Be honest, seek out the reality (even if it hurts).
