Only yesterday I was reading up on the 1st, second, and third Reichs, and for the first time in my life realized the Holy Roman Empire was created by the Germans, and it was the first Reich, the second was the Wiemar Republic, which a lot of the German nobility and aristocrats were unhappy with, and so they joined the Nazi Party and helped Hitler create the Third Reich.
