Lankford intrigues me. I don’t agree with his stances at all, but at least he seems genuine. I’d really like to know what he thinks and feels about the way Trump exploded his hard work on the immigration bill, for nefarious purposes. Was his faith in the GOP shattered at all? Does he have any moral qualms about associating with such dramatic hypocrisy? He is surrounded by slime. What does that feel like to a person with authentic conservative values? He’s not blind.
