I am a Dem. To me the biggest question isn't about whether a Dem or Rep wins in 2024, it is whether or not there is a possibility Trump will be elected. I will choose whichever option will make it least likely for that to happen. Trump winning the nomination is just taking one step closer to disaster, it doesn't matter the odds of him winning the general.

I despise DeSantis and disagree strongly with most other Republicans who might run, but none of them seems to possess the unique abilities that Trump does which would enable him to destroy what he has left standing the first time around. (Note my use of "seems to". )

I remain thankful that Trump did not win reelection.
