It will be interesting to watch this process. In the past free land was given to charitable schools run by for-profit, British-branded entities ultimately owned by HK’s wealthiest families. Which one of China’s top schools will franchise its name? Which HK crony will be the silent recipient of $100s of millions of subsidy?
