I wouldn't hit the link and read that article, but from the excerpts you provide, I sense a strong sickly smell of smug enjoyment in rubbing "the left's" nose in their hypocritical warmongering.

I put "left" in quotes, because the author smears the left (intentionally) by mistaking it for what professor Nancy Fraser calls "Progressive Neoliberalism" (do the Google), a pose deployed by Democrats, where identity politics is used to mask pro-corporate economic and pro-war foreign policies.
