I think rather than just use the word 'Christian' you should use the term 'Judaeo-Christian'; or even just 'monotheistic ideology'. It all has the same root and manifestation after all.
Likewise 'atheism' is a direct result and manifestation of the monotheistic ideology, which is fundamentally anti-spirit and anti-religion (cf. Nietzsche), specifically designed to destroy the human at-oneness with nature/their souls/other entities. For several thousand years it has targeted and attacked and destroyed ancient wisdom (represented by the serpent, by the demon-pretending-to-be-a-god; projection, in other words), as expressed through first animism and then the more sophisticated paganism.
We also of course have secular versions of the ideology, the most obvious one being Marxism (not to be confused with socialism).
You are absolutely right to bring in Jungian psychoanalysis of course. Atheism, Satanism, Judaeo-Christianity, Marxism, these are all shadows of each other. The same thing, in other words. This world will only be a better place, like it once was, when this ideology no longer exists, and is never tolerated again. Remove that ideology from history and we continue to live in a good world. The utterly damaging psychological effects of this ideology on both individuals and social groups should be blindingly obvious by now.
And we absolutely mustn't excuse it by saying 'oh but some adherents are good people' - like you said elsewhere, they are good despite the ideology, not because of it. And perhaps they are only there to provide that argument. Bit like Bernie Sanders.
