Yesterday Bill shared a link to the Korean War film "Battle at Lake Changjin," which is a Chinese retelling of what the US calls the "Battle of the Chosin Reservoir."
Have there been many modern Chinese films where NATO/US Forces are explicitly shown as the enemy? It feels like its a good opportunity create nationalist fervor. Thinking about this as some trend of making Americans "the bad guys" is probably going too far, though.
There have been similar examples, the stateless foreign mercenaries in Wolf Warrior 2 come to mind.
