Oh, I am certainly not suggesting that the UN has any enforcement power. What I meant by highlighting the UN standard is that I might well agree with your point if the US had arbitrarily decided to label what is happening in Xinjiang a "genocide" based on arbitrary US government policy; however, as the US is instead adhering to a definition set by the organization which the CCP holds up as its preferred international rules-setter, I am less inclined to classify what the USG is doing here as unproductively inflammatory.
