Perhaps you would still disagree afterward, but I would refer you again to "The Secret History of the World", Mark Booth, as it would be far too long for me to expound... so should you wish to explore that. I understand what you're saying, but he's trying to illustrate an evolution in consciousness largely through myths/stories and in going way back he's pointing to an entirely different perception, and hence experience, of reality in their everyday lives which also excludes the entire notion of an individual with an internal consciousness. Even just going back to the Greeks it's different but moving much closer to how we experience life. In a nutshell, best I can say. Cheers.
