Women are not taught from childhood to refrain from violence or to control negatives emotions like anger or impatience; it is wrongly assumed that female tendencies are never malicious or dangerous. I have seen incredible outbursts by mothers against their children in public: shaking the child, screaming, berating him/her, shaming, grabbing the child's arm roughly, etc. I could only imagine what she did to the child in private. Very rare to see that kind of outburst from a father.
