There is a Board of Governors that could ask for the President's resignation, and I do think he would find himself in hot water if he failed to show proper respect for gender studies. Universities are filled with far-left ideologues more than willing to push their weight around; always on the alert for evidence that one of their own has shown insufficient zeal in supporting radical causes. A couple of years ago, the President of the Board of Governors at the University of British Columbia, my Alma Mater, was forced to step down because he had 'Liked' a couple of tweets that were critical of the BLM riots. He claimed that he had 'Liked' them merely to keep a record of them, but that and his fulsome apology weren't good enough. University cultures are cutthroat; professors have a lot of time to organize against their ideological enemies, and nothing in the world makes them feel so relevant, so cutting-edge, as participating in mob attacks.
