Thank you, Brad, yes, I have read it and indeed enjoyed it, though I had some reservations about it too (and am now searching my wooly brain to see if I can remember what they were, so forgive the simplicity of what I'm about to say). As someone who suffered from acute acne as an adolescent, and even well into adulthood, I was a little unsure about the equation he made between mental stability and physical beauty. Many very attractive women, of course, become feminists. Also, many men were persecuted and killed during the witch hysteria (I'm no expert, but I've read, even, that the numbers of men and women killed were sometimes roughly equal, depending on region). But overall, I thought his thesis about the connection between feminism and mental illness--and the destruction of civilization--was potent and well worth pursuing.
