I agree with you, but I don't think the discourse of safety is really about safety. It's about having the power to mob and destroy any man at any time. The presence of chaperones and safety officers, etcetera, would seriously limit a woman's ability to declaim about the harassment and assault she allegedly endured. They don't want to stop "sexualized violence," they want to be able to talk about it endlessly and wield it as a weapon.
