Right, this is a great reflection on what we do here, in this lifetime.

As I see it, we are trying to find a way to learn ourselves, or to discard things that are not relevant to the particular “me”. It is a continuous process (in my experience), and everything may contribute to it, as long as I (the subjective subject of the process) am interested in developing and becoming more and more in tune with this existence.

Challenging established opinions and trying to find gaps in argumentation is only one of the tools in this process. I consider it most useful, because it shows 99% of this life as illusory and built on sand. When I come across that 1% that is beyond challenge, what a refreshment. Pure energy, and it makes you become one with this life, in an instant. No need to fight lies, make meaningless clashes with people, disarm opponents. Things become clear right away.
