I know you're not implying this in your comment, but this line of thinking gave me a twitch of anger for all the covidians I got into arguments with about why there were mass exoduses from harsh, draconian blue cities and states to the least restrictive locations. The cultists would invariably insist that they were all "fleeing COVID" and not attempting to escape a miserable lifestyle under public health rule.
