The result of this science phobia or at least blind spot on the part of interactive media leadership is that they keep falling eternally behind on tech. You can see from my analysis of the extremely well funded EOMM and EnMatch tech teams, with tons of PhDs involved, that in 2014 I was at least 10 years ahead of the EnMatch team from 2024. And that team was at least 7 years ahead of the 2017 EOMM team (because they were going down the same tech path).
This lines up with my estimates that I am at least 20 years ahead of the IM industry in tech. Just like my friends who do pure neuroscience work are at least 20 years ahead of me in pure neuroscience work. But since I'm a proper scientist, I collaborate. There's no collaboration in IM. Me and my neuroscience circle benefit both ways on that collaboration.
Imagine its like the industry is going down the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) tech path, and I've been going down the EV tech path since at least 2005. They have to see that with regulation coming in 2026 that their tech path is approaching a dead end. How do they react? They DOUBLE DOWN. These people don't care about their companies or workers. They will go as far as they can and then they will parachute out of the burning plane. Leadership has no incentive to do otherwise.
