Face the facts, all evidence points to the fact that today's GOP, whatever they say or remain silent about, would be just fine with trump winning another term. I don't care what they say amongst themselves, in private, and off-the-record. I don't care what they tell themselves to rid themselves of their well-earned shame. They would rather gain and keep power at ANY and ALL cost, than to lose to the Democrats.
