I found this quite a slog when you guys got to the trans bit. He’s right to compare trans ideology to Mormonism in that it’s essentially an ideological belief. What he seems to miss completely somehow (I don’t understand how) is that we are NOT all being told by governments, healthcare systems, schools, universities and so on that we have to believe in, or should pretend to believe in, Mormonism. We’re not being kicked out of jobs if we say we don’t believe in Mormonism. We are with transgenderism. He said about people “intentionally misgendering people”, which is like saying you’re “intentionally mis-shaping” the earth if you disagree with flat-earthers. Correctly sexing a human is just basic truth. I don’t have to pretend I believe in Mormon beliefs, Christian beliefs, or flat-earther beliefs in daily life. It’s just not a thing! Why should I have to think that “misgendering” a person is a real thing I even have to consider signals anything other than speaking the truth?
