From a real point of view it does not matter who wins the elections in the US.
Explanation: In countries which used to be called communist in Europe - I grew up in one - we had a parliament of sorts, and also a Constitution, which as a whole looked fairly democratic, except a single article, which said that the Communist Party (Central Committee) has special rights of highest managing power (at all levels). The USA of today have a Senate, a Congress, a President, but also a so-called Deep State. It does not appear in the Constitution, but it is a clear equivalent of the Central Committee of an absolute Oligarch Party. No difference at all, if anyone sees any, it is just an illusion, produced by the general show. We had an idea of switching into a democratic world - today we see it is exactly the some, with EU, and even the US, poking their nose into our affairs (the latter presumably based on our NATO membership, but also via pushing the whole of the EU).
