As the phrase in "Hamilton" the musical says, "What are the odds the gods would put us all in one spot?" It truly does seem divinely inspired that all of these men came together and coalesced into such a strongly united group when there was no mass communication, the colonies considered themselves basically independent of each other, going up against then the greatest superpower in the world, having very little money or munitions. I like to think that at this time in history we have a second chance at preserving this wonderful 'experiment' that the Founders originally envisioned.
