James Freeman's good, but he's no Taranto. I only subscribed to the WSJ when I could get the $1/3 months online deals, and even then, it was just to read the BOTWT column. I was in the FOBOTWT Facebook group almost from its inception, since around 2009 IIRC, but I deleted FB from my life last June and I haven't looked back.
