I was being sarcastic. I too have many loved ones who took the dirt.

Like you said; we have to have them to beat back this evil.

We're on the same page. I shouldn't have been so acerbic with my quip.

We are definitely going to have to use theory of mind with a dash of empathy.

But that is only half the solution. The other side of coin; is that they must tacitly admit to themselves that they may have contributed to the abomination we have lived through and the concomitant carnage just now starting to reveal itself.

Millions will die as a direct result of compliancy and complacency. Shit runs downhill. I didn't see too many, otherwise decent people, recognize that. That's selfish and irresponsible.

The least amongst us will carry the heaviest burden.

That said, I'm a pragmatist:

We must forgive most and bring them to the right side of history. We are still in the prolugue imo.
