Some photographers have a great eye for capturing essential peace and love in a child that you can't draw forth from most adults. I've done lots of photography with excellent equipment, but I might have achieved his results with a child perhaps once or twice in my lifetime. Mr. Salah is one of those special eyes -- as well as being a brave Gazan journalist; my respect for him is immense. I'd post two of his images here if I could -- pictures in this instance definitely worth all my words.
