Which is a commentary on the brainwashed inability -- or unwillingness -- to disconnect Soviet Union from Russia. Which then boils down to that endless inculcation: "hate the Commies, Communism sucks", etc. etc. Talk about a mantra that gets drilled into North Americans of my generation from early childhood.
