Some nuance here that gets glossed over: I actually do think the world would be better with a smaller population in the long run. But it needs to be achieved ethically, and this is absolutely NOT the way to do it.

The two ethical ways to solve overpopulation are 1) female empowerment, and 2) poverty reduction. No force, coercion, deception, or poisoning needed. Let the planetary healing begin!
