Yeah, I can’t see China ‘ruling the world’ in the same way as the US since the end of the Soviet. But they certainly want a sphere of influence, I think anyway, that befits their status as a major power. Perhaps we are heading to a multipolar world with the US, China and India dominating? Where does that leave Europe? I would have thought there were more threats to US hegemony from Brazil and Indonesia too.
