After watching the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League (both color and black and white versions), i have concluded that the whole China/US thing can be explained in Justice League terms. Joe Biden is Bruce Wayne who is struggling to build the team to confront Darkseid (China). Russia is Steppenwolf. Japan is Wonder Woman. Australia is The Flash. India is a Third-World country. Biden only has the Quad, but Bruce Wayne's team has six to confront Darkseid. This means that the Quad needs to become the Six; I would recommend the addition of South Korea and Taiwan. Taiwan can be Crypto because it has the hi-tech lead by owning TSMC. South Korea can be Clark Kent because it is initially reluctant to join the Six to confront Darkseid. Darkseid has two of the three Mother Boxes: Capital and People. Before it can achieve Unity by connecting the three Mother Boxes, it must get the last Box: Technology. Joe Biden/Bruce Wayne must achieve this because if he doesn't, the world will fall victim to Darkseid's darkness.
