By 2030, China, the US and the rest of the world will face a global threat: rising waters caused by global warming. This will result in large migrations of people and relocations, moving industries inland, and intermittent flooding for coastal cities. Many will become like Venice by 2050. About one-third to one-half of Florida, for example, will be underwater.
This will result in enormous economic costs, which will push any bloc's current plans for a new global order into the background.
The US's military planners have done extensive planning for the threat from global warming because many US bases worldwide will be affected. Their planners are guided by science; they believe that this is a reality and are planning accordingly.
